Drossel von Flügel meets with Gedächtnis in the main hall of the Flügel Manor, addressing him as Rasputin and Constantine. She expresses a desire to remove the "furball" attached to her, which is identified as Schadenfreude. Gedächtnis responds with a joke, prompting Schadenfreude to leap onto his head and hang from the high ceiling. The creature then jumps on both of their heads before losing balance and falling. This impact causes his lightbulb eye to detach and roll into a pile of similarly sized lights in various colors. Observing the scattered bulbs, Drossel and Gedächtnis decide to play with the other lightbulbs found in the room.
