Ep. 19: Ritsu struggles with confidence while Tohru helps him find a reason to live.

Tohru encounters Ritsu Sohma, who panics easily and wears female clothing to feel calm. Shigure attempts to build his confidence, but Ritsu remains shy, believing his friend Mitsuru is a stalker. When Ritsu accidentally ruins Shigure’s manuscript with coffee, Mitsuru faints and flees. Believing he has caused irreparable harm, Ritsu attempts suicide, haunted by memories of his parents apologizing for his clumsiness. Tohru intervenes, encouraging him to find a reason to live for others, just as she did. Moved by her words, Ritsu decides to live for someone else’s sake. Later, he shares this perspective with Mitsuru, who finds the strength to continue. The two become friends, still prone to panic and mutual apologies, but no longer despairing.
