Ep. 16: Arisa Buys Tohru a Swimsuit and Recalls Her Gang Past
Aired on July 20, 2019

Arisa and Saki purchase a pink swimsuit for Tohru, while Yuki and Kyo accompany them. During a soba lunch, Arisa remembers meeting Tohru in middle school when she belonged to a violent street gang. Her idol was the Crimson Butterfly, now a mother named Kyoko with a daughter at Arisa’s school. Arisa was shocked by the daughter’s odd behavior and Kyoko’s doting nature. Tohru first called Arisa "Uo-chan" at their home. Seeing their bond reminded Arisa of her neglectful single father, causing her to reject them. This memory triggers a breakdown as Arisa fears being permanently stuck in her current situation. In a post-credits scene, Momiji speaks German to scare away female delinquents intimidating a passerby.
