During their summer break, Sousuke, Kaname, and their friends attend the Narashino military festival. They participate in the annual AS competition where Sousuke assists the Narashino team, a unit of the 1st Airborne Brigade that typically loses to the Nerima team. Meanwhile, Sousuke's classmate Shinji Kazama, who is a military otaku, resolves his conflicts with his father. His father serves as the commanding officer for the Narashino team. The visit allows the group to engage with the local military culture and support the struggling local squad during the competitive event.
