Mitsuki and her friends travel toward Eichi's country residence, during which she remains puzzled by Takuto's recent confession. Meanwhile, Meroko observes that the name "Eichi Sakurai" is written backwards in her Shinigami handbook. Takuto proceeds to investigate the location independently, where he detects a distinct odor of death. His inquiry leads him to uncover a tragic event associated with Eichi. The group's proximity to the destination coincides with these unsettling discoveries regarding the handbook and the atmosphere surrounding the house.
