Upon returning from America, Mitsuki becomes heartbroken and quits singing, leaving Takuto and Meroko unable to comfort her. Her grandmother, concerned by her condition, removes her from Dr. Wakaoji's hospital and seeks other medical opinions. Ms. Oshige secures time off for Mitsuki, noting she cannot transform into Fullmoon while in this state, and expresses her desire to support the girl to Wakaoji. Meanwhile, Izumi advises Takuto and Meroko to end Mitsuki's life to prevent her suffering from worsening.
