Takuto attempts to prevent Mitsuki from visiting Eichi's residence, but Mitsuki proceeds regardless. There, Eichi's adoptive grandparents reveal that Eichi and his adoptive parents died in a car accident two years prior. Following this revelation, Mitsuki rushes to a cemetery while reading a letter Eichi wrote before his death. Upon arrival, Mitsuki lies down on Eichi's gravestone, overwhelmed by the news of his friend's long-hidden fate and the loss of his family.
