Ep. 38: Soi’s potion affects Tamahome while Miaka seeks Yui to summon Seiryuu

Soi secretly gave Tamahome a potion during their kiss, an illusion seen through by Mitsukake’s cat. Amiboshi offers Miaka forgetfulness leaves to erase her past, but she refuses after remembering the Suzaku Seven. Tamahome rejects the fake Miaka to preserve the chance of summoning Suzaku. Amiboshi regains his memory and decides to help Yui summon Seiryuu. Kutou soldiers attack Makan Village, where Amiboshi defeats them with his flute. Tomo reveals himself and attacks Tamahome, warning that other Suzaku Seven members are dying in his illusion. Amiboshi senses Tamahome and departs to help, taking a vial of forgetfulness leaves juice from his adoptive father. Ignoring instructions to wait, Miaka runs off to find Yui and encounters Soi.
