Ep. 1: Ukiya Shun Opens a Gate to Defend His Home from Invaders

In May 1969, Japan experiences prosperity while unnatural disasters rise globally. The secret organization A.E.G.I.S. traces these events to entities called Invaders. To stop further destruction, the Far Eastern branch seeks Gate Keepers, individuals capable of opening gates. The story introduces Ukiya Shun, a teenager living with his mother and younger sister Saemi. His life changes when his home is caught in a battle between Invaders and Ruriko Ikusawa, the first Far Eastern Branch recruit. Driven by anger over the threat to his family, Ukiya unknowingly opens a gate. He then uses this power to single-handedly defeat the Invader threat, marking the beginning of his involvement with the global defense effort.
