Reiji persistently recruits Ruriko for his Political Thoughts club, but she is distracted by her developing feelings for Shun. Feeling pressured by competition from Kaoru, Ruriko ultimately decides to join the club. In a parallel storyline, the group discovers that Ms. Ochiai is being forced into an arranged marriage set up by her mother. Because the fiancé is abusive, Shun and his friends travel to the train station to intervene and prevent her departure. Ruriko faces a difficult choice between attending the club meeting organized by Reiji and assisting her friends in rescuing Ms. Ochiai from her unwanted situation.
