Following their defeat, Shun and his comrades are ordered to rest. Shun returns home to experience a normal life, while Ruriko struggles with her obsession to remain the top Gate Keeper and returns to school. Kikai Shogun and Akuma Hakushaku appear, easily defeating the Western A.E.G.I.S. veterans. Ruriko tries to help but becomes a burden. Yukino arrives to inform Shun of the distant battle. Rushing to rescue Ruriko, Shun encounters Megane and Bancho, who bring an unexpected surprise.
