Art dealer Hachisu and museum curator Abukawa commission the GetBackers to retrieve a unique thirteen painting of Sunflowers by Van Gogh. Ban and Ginji accept the job and begin surveilling Clayman. Himiko, working for Clayman, uses lookalikes to lead the duo into a trap. She sprays Ban with poisonous perfume, controlling him like a puppet until he instructs Ginji to use his lightning to break free. Both are captured and tied up at the hideout. Clayman reveals the painting, challenging the GetBackers to determine if it is genuine or a forgery.
