Oct 5, 2002Natsumi Mizuki loses a keychain from her mother after a police officer suspects her of photographing him with yakuza henchmen. Paul Wan, owner of the Honky Tonk cafe and friend of the GetBackers, urges Ban and Ginji to accept the retrieval case. Following several unsuccessful attempts, the duo locates the stolen item but finds Natsumi captured by the officer and the gang. They intervene, with Ginji generating electricity resembling an electric eel and Ban displaying a two hundred kilogram-force grip. Ban’s Evil Eye induces a nightmare in the officer, causing him to hallucinate killing the duo and then being executed by police. Once the illusion fades, Natsumi is reunited with her keychain. She subsequently secures a part-time position at the Honky Tonk cafe where the GetBackers frequent.

Oct 12, 2002Jobless and starving, Ban and Ginji receive aid from homeless man Yamamura, who reveals his daughter Rika was kidnapped by yakuza due to financial pressure. He hires the duo to rescue her. Upon infiltrating the mansion, Rika betrays them, claiming she is content with her captors. However, the yakuza admit their true plan to force Yamamura to sell Rika. Ban uses Evil Eye to show Rika a nightmare of the leader killing Ban and Ginji, followed by the henchmen burning alive. Ginji urges Rika to return to her father, but Yamamura subsequently suffers a fatal heart attack. Ban then gives Yamamura a dream of Rika returning to him.

Oct 19, 2002Hevn hires The GetBackers to retrieve a box from The Transporters, with the group demanding a share of the presumed platinum contents. During the high-speed pursuit of the semi-trailer truck, Himiko Kudo sprays Ginji with a poisonous perfume that temporarily turns him into an ape. This incident causes Ban to lose control, sending both of them off a cliff. While searching for their targets, Ban explains to Ginji how Himiko earned the nickname "Lady Poison." The Transporters are subsequently blocked by an interceptor and his gang, but Kuroudo Akabane single-handedly kills them. Finally, both groups halt their vehicles to prepare for a confrontation.

Maguruma attempts to ram the group, but Ban uses Evil Eye on a crow to induce a nightmare, causing Maguruma to crash into a pole. Ohtaki informs them the box contains only a "platinum" watermelon, and they receive one tenth as their reward.

Nov 9, 2002Ginji rescues Madoka Otowa and her guide dog Mozart from thugs, encountering former VOLTS member Kazuki Fuchouin. The GetBackers accept a job to retrieve a Stradivarius violin from Shunsuke Akutsu before Madoka’s performance the following evening. Disguised as musicians, the team, including Paul, Hevn, and Natsumi, infiltrates Akutsu’s estate but falls into a trap set by Akutsu and Shido Fuyuki, another former VOLTS member. While Madoka searches for the violin and meets Shido, the GetBackers are imprisoned with a lion. Ban uses Evil Eye on the lion to create a diversion for escape. After splitting up, Ban, Paul, and Natsumi are surrounded by Shido’s animal army. Ban uses Evil Eye on the animals until he reaches his limit, then tells Shido to continue fighting outside.

He drops Ban and Ginji on the highway. Back at the estate, Kurobe battles Shido, witnessing his animal transformation. Hishiki fights Ginji, while Ban defeats Sugahara, who had been trapped by Ban's Evil Eye and realized he was a traitor.

Visconti compliments her performance and jokes that she is in love with Shido. Before the evening show, Ban uses the Evil Eye on Akutsu to ruin the performance. The next day, Shido spends time with Madoka in her backyard as they grow closer.

After meeting masked men who assign them to retrieve an item called IL, their base self-destructs. The group proceeds to the fortress the next day, but Hevn is kidnapped shortly after they part ways. Inside, the team battles modified enemies and meets Shuu, a former VOLTS member. Kumon Horii murders Shuu and releases poisonous gas, affecting Ginji. As Horii targets the enraged Ginji, Akabane intervenes and kills Horii to save his teammate.

Ban chants an incantation to increase his strength and grip, breaking free and destroying Ayame's modified body. He frees the women and escapes. Shido defeats Ryouma, and the pair reunite. Frustrated by the body modification of innocents, they suspect Makubex, the youngest Four King born in the Fortress, is responsible.

After Kazuki defeats Akame in a thread technique battle and rescues Himiko, Makubex secretly controls her through a wire connected to his computer. Kazuki attempts to sever the wire but is attacked by Juubei Kakei, an assistant of Makubex, who throws needles at him. Juubei pursues Kazuki, who escapes using an explosion. Ban, Ginji, Akabane, and Hevn encounter Kagami, who lets the seven pass to see Makubex, who awaits them.

Ultimately, Ginji’s final strike reveals the entire scenario was an illusion used by Makubex to install the IL into the mainframe.
