The Imperial forces implement a rotation tactic to sustain their strength, with Müller, Mittermeyer, Bittenfeld, and other admirals cycling through the battle line. In contrast, Yang’s fleet, reduced to fewer than 20,000 ships, fights without personnel rotation. Bittenfeld’s elite units inflict a devastating blow on Yang’s forces. Admiral Fischer, responsible for Yang’s fleet maneuvers, is killed during the engagement. Meanwhile, Reinhard loses consciousness due to illness. A ceasefire is subsequently declared. Following the battle, the Yang fleet retreats and passes out at Iserlohn.
