Bittenfeld adopts a cautious formation due to wariness regarding incoming messages. Yang exploits communications jamming within the corridor to deceive Mecklinger into retreating to the Imperial entrance. Attenborough’s fleet lures Bittenfeld’s forces into the narrow passage, while Fahrenheit’s fleet trails behind to overwhelm Yang through numerical superiority. Yang turns this advantage against the Imperials, forcing them to cluster tightly within the confined space. During the ensuing conflict, High Admiral Fahrenheit is killed, which ultimately prevents the total destruction of the two Imperial fleets involved in the engagement.
