Reinhard reveals to Hildegard that Kircheis inspired his ceasefire push. Yang accepts talks after Fischer's death cripples his fleet, departing Iserlohn with minimal staff and El Facil politicians. Fork intercepts Yang but is killed by Imperial destroyers behind him. An assassination attempt on Iserlohn is revealed to be orchestrated by disguised Earth Cultists. During the attack, Patrichev and others die defending Yang. Schenkopp and the Rosen Ritter board the ship, where Yang is shot in the leg. On June 1st, 800 S.C. / 2 N.I.C., Yang Wen-li succumbs to blood loss at the age of 33.
