The 999 is forced to make an emergency stop at the Fossilized Planet, a location so thoroughly petrified that the tracks themselves are stone. Curious about the surrounding fossils, Tetsuro decides to leave the train to investigate the area. A warrior who guards the Fossilized Planet suspects that Tetsuro intends to steal the fossils. Consequently, the guardian attacks Tetsuro, initiating a confrontation over the ancient remains. This event marks the first part of the incident involving the petrified world and the defensive measures taken by its protector against the perceived threat.
