Ep. 10: Prince Hata seeks a new pet in Edo while Kagura adopts a large creature named Sadaharu

Prince Hata visits Edo again, heartbroken over Pes, and searches every city zoo for the next cutest pet. Meanwhile, Kagura finds a box outside the Odd Jobs Gin building while eating pickled seaweed. Inside is an adorable but very large dog-like creature. Despite Gintoki’s protests, Kagura insists on keeping it and names the animal Sadaharu. She plays roughly with the new pet, causing Gintoki and Shinpachi to become exhausted from Sadaharu’s constant biting. The situation leaves the group wondering how to handle the energetic addition to their daily lives.
