Gokusen

Kumiko Yamaguchi begins teaching math at Shirokin High School and is placed in charge of class 2-4, a group of delinquent students. Initially, the class attempts to challenge her authority, but she remains unaffected. Over time, she earns their respect. Unbeknownst to the school, she is the successor to the Oedo Group, a prominent yakuza family. As she works to succeed in her teaching role, she must also conceal her criminal background.
