Golgo 13 accepts a contract to kill a Jordanian emissary traveling from an aircraft to a helicopter in the United States. The American State Department counters by hiring a young, arrogant mercenary sniper named Katz Double to eliminate Golgo 13 first. To counter this threat, Golgo 13 strategically places two disassembled rifles at decoy sniping locations. This deception successfully misleads the inexperienced Katz Double, who fails to identify the true danger. Capitalizing on the rival's confusion, Golgo 13 utilizes an M-16 rifle to neutralize both the helicopter and Katz Double, thereby completing his mission without direct confrontation.
