The Golgo 13 accepts a contract from the New York Mafia to eliminate a rival international assassin. The target is revealed to be Eva Kruger, a woman he previously met during a cruise ship incident where a terrorist planted a bomb. Although Golgo defused the device to save the passengers, ignoring the crew's order to evacuate, he and Eva parted ways afterward. Despite Eva’s decision to retire from her profession and live as a civilian, Golgo tracks her down. He successfully carries out the assassination from a distance while she is on a different boat, fulfilling the contract without hesitation or direct confrontation.
