Following his arrest, King escapes and attacks Haru before luring Sakura to Gale under false pretenses. King ultimately kills Sakura and implants a Shadow Stone within Gale. In the present, Haru weeps upon hearing this account but is persuaded to join Gale in battle against King. After King triggers an explosion, Elie arrives and hands the Rave of Combat to Haru, though the item was originally intended for Plue. This sequence of events solidifies Haru's resolve to confront King alongside his allies.
