Ep. 2: Shu Acquires Kaleidoscope Void While Refusing Undertaker Recruitment

Following a retreat from GHQ Endlaves due to Lieutenant Daryl Yan’s arrival, the Undertakers regroup. Gai praises Tsugumi and Ayase Shinomiya but reprimands Inori for Shu absorbing the Void Genome, noting Shu’s new power prevents inaction. The group later intercepts Guin, who holds civilians hostage. Daryl executes some hostages while Funeral Parlor tricks him away from the command center. Gai confronts Guin’s men in a standoff. Shu uses the distraction to extract Daryl’s Void, Kaleidoscope, from his cockpit. When Guin orders his troops to fire, Shu employs Kaleidoscope to shield Gai and reflect the lasers, destroying Guin and his men. Despite witnessing GHQ atrocities and the Undertakers’ cause, Shu declines Gai’s invitation to join them. The following day, Inori unexpectedly transfers into Shu’s school.
