Ep. 24: De Killer’s Lie Exposed as Phoenix Reveals Blackmail Plot to Secure Guilty Verdict

De Killer falsely claims Adrian as his client, revealing his deception by misgendering her. When Engarde is nearly acquitted, Franziska presents a video disk obtained by Gumshoe, showing de Killer murdering Corrida. Phoenix uses this evidence to demonstrate that Engarde intended to blackmail de Killer. Betrayed, de Killer terminates his contract with Engarde, designating him as his next target, and frees Maya. Fearing for his life, Engarde confesses to the crime. Following the trial, Franziska questions Phoenix’s satisfaction with the guilty outcome.
