Yoki identifies Scar among Ishbalans at a refugee camp and flees to contact the military for reinstatement. Meanwhile, military forces capture a mysterious boy they suspect is a homunculus, imprisoning him in South Headquarters. Bido, a chimera, discovers the boy's location. Izumi storms the headquarters to rescue him but becomes entangled in a five-way conflict over the captive.
