Kaidou brings Akatsuki to meet the mechanical department director, where they encounter Sleipnir, a powerful magical motorcycle that rejects anyone it considers unworthy. Although Sleipnir initially rejects Akatsuki, he becomes determined after learning his father once rode it and successfully subdues the machine. When Haruka tries to remove Akatsuki, Sleipnir disintegrates her clothes, prompting Akatsuki to give her his jacket. Later, Akatsuki joins the student council to resolve a hostage situation, saving a young girl. Haruka scolds him for being reckless and arrogant, but the girl’s mother mistakenly thanks Haruka for the rescue. Meanwhile, Kaidou violently handles another terrorist, hinting at a dangerous nature. Haruka, beginning to feel attracted to Akatsuki, returns his jacket to Miu, too flustered to face him directly.
