The annual ranking tournament, designed to measure student strength, commences. Akatsuki, Miu, Kazuha, and Chikage form a team and effortlessly defeat all opponents. Later that evening, Akatsuki agrees to a duel with a member of the student council. Before the match can proceed, Kaidou intervenes to issue a critical warning. He reveals that the protective magic barrier, intended to prevent serious injury during combat, has been sabotaged. Consequently, if the duel takes place under these compromised conditions, the participants risk causing fatal harm to one another by mistake.
