Ep. 8: Mahiro Trapped in a Dating Sim After Nyaruko's Confession

Following Nyaruko's sincere confession of love on the beach, Mahiro experiences a mental haze while the group shops for souvenirs. Inside one of the stores, he discovers a strange game console. Upon powering it up, Mahiro becomes trapped inside a dating simulation where he serves as the main character. To escape this virtual world, he must achieve a positive ending by romancing one of four specific characters: Nyaruko, Tamao Kurei, Cthugha, or Hasuta. The narrative indicates that the scenario involving a kiss between Mahiro and Nyaruko serves as the flag for returning to reality, though Mahiro retains no memory of the events that transpired within the game.
