Ep. 3: The Silver-Scale Curse
Jaken recounts how Lady Zero cursed Rin fourteen years ago, threatening to encase her in silver scales unless Sesshoumaru revealed the location of his newborn twin daughters. To halt the lethal affliction, Jaken placed Rin under the protection of the Sacred Tree of Ages, which kept her in suspended animation while transferring the dreams of four-year-old Setsuna to sustain her life. In the present timeline, the Half-Demon Princesses seek the two-thousand-year-old tree-demon Bokusenou to obtain a Kyuuyoukon Root for Towa’s sword. He directs them to Mount Musubi but omits the powerful demonic energy shield surrounding it. Upon reaching the mountain, the sisters ponder the mysteries ahead, while a transparent red-haired girl sleeps deeply on a glowing scale at the mountain's center.
