Blue provides Megumi and Hime with Cure Line phones to maintain contact while emphasizing the need to conceal their Pretty Cure identities from loved ones. Megumi struggles to hide her secret from her neighbor, Seiji. The following day, Seiji encounters a Newspaper Choiark led by Queen Mirage’s commander, Hosshiiwa, during his morning run. Megumi and Hime arrive to find him under attack and choose to transform in front of him to ensure his safety. Megumi, now in her Cherry Flamenco form, defeats the Choiarks, and the pair subsequently vanquishes the Newspaper Choiark. Blue, Megumi, and Hime then explain their situation to Seiji, who agrees to assist them in battling the Choiarks. This episode marks the 10th anniversary of Cure Passion.
