Chiho invites Maou, Alciel, and Urushihara to assist with the summer harvest at her family's farm in Nagano. Upon arrival, they meet her relatives and are amazed by the property's size. After a day of labor, the group visits a hot spring, where they unexpectedly encounter Emi, Suzuno, and Alas Ramus. Emi offers to help with the farm work, surprising Maou and Chiho. Chiho later explains that Emi’s presence stems from unresolved feelings regarding Maou’s past actions, though she still hopes for their collective happiness. During the harvest, Emi pairs with Maou to pick eggplants, stating she does not forgive him but supports his efforts for the Sasaki family. Later, Maou and Alciel take the child, Hitoshi, to see his mother, but their outing is interrupted by a growling black bear that notices them after Hitoshi begins to cry.
