Amidst rising fog, Amane escorts the girls while the boys encounter a cyclops and minotaur before a tornado sweeps them away. Camio, the general Maou left in the demon realm, appears and transforms into a small bird after recovering indoors. The next day, the boys struggle with beach hut duties until the girls arrive to relieve their stress. Urushihara discusses Olba’s arrest and his theory that Olba targeted Emi’s Holy Sword for a Heaven bargain. Maou introduces Camio to Emi and Chiho, who learns from him that Amane attacked the demons the previous night with power surpassing any human he has witnessed.
