Ep. 52: Hayate travels back in time to protect young Nagi from the Mafia during their Mykonos trip.
During Golden Week, Hayate, Nagi, and Maria visit Mykonos while Ayumu, Hinagiku, and the Hakuou Three Amiga tour Cappadocia and Athens. After Nagi’s hat is blown away, Hayate retrieves it and slips eight years into the past, encountering a younger Nagi on the island. He discovers she is targeted by the Sicilian Mafia and successfully protects her, realizing his return was necessary to save her. However, when they attempt to stargaze at sunset, her hat is blown away again, sending Hayate back to the present. This erases his past promise, causing Nagi to remember him as a liar who disappeared. In the present, Wataru and Saki watch stars through a projector as others on the boat to Mykonos stargaze. Hayate returns Nagi’s hat, and they gaze at the night sky together.
