Hayate wakes Nagi to show her a newspaper headline about a girls-only quiz tournament. He finds Ayumu, who also wishes to compete. Nagi and Ayumu enter the 4256th High School Girls Ultra Quiz together. Nagi hopes to win a trophy resembling Hayate, while Ayumu desires an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu ticket to dine with him. The event is hosted by the narrator, Voice of the Heavens, and Abe Maou, the demon from episode 10. Although the pair struggles to cooperate during the competition, they ultimately win. Ayumu then uses the prize ticket to invite both Nagi and Hayate to eat together.
