Ep. 1: Lynn rescues a panicked horse Vivian abandoned while Sarah and George prepare to depart Montgomery Mansion.

Sarah and her father George visit Lynn at Montgomery Mansion after three years. At St. Patrick Academy, Lynn tends horses until friend Sara calls her to watch captain Vivian ride Andrews through an obstacle course. A squirrel startles Andrews, throwing Vivian, who then lashes the horse with a whip. Andrews flees to the city in a frenzy. Lynn and Paul pursue the animal, finding it at a building entrance. Lynn calmly soothes the panicked horse as people cheer, angering Vivian. Later, Lynn returns home to delight her family with her adventure. However, Sarah and George must soon leave Lynn in Countess Montgomery's care, leaving Lynn hoping for their eventual reunion.
