Sophie arrives to reside at the Montgomery mansion. Her mother expresses concern that Isabelle intends to bequeath her inheritance to Lynn, thereby excluding Sophie and her mother from their expected portion. Consequently, she instructs Sophie to damage Lynn’s reputation. Meanwhile, Isabelle purchases Andrews from the school with the intention of presenting him as a gift to Lynn.
