Ep. 11: Chris Reflects on Finn and Evades Police While Ban Attacks the Palace

Chris contemplates his history, noting similarities between himself and Finn. Finn awakens in the Pinochle office to discover that Chris shot him in the pocket holding his indestructible X-Playing Card, which saved his life. Finn is instructed to remain behind while High Card members protect the Royal Family from the Klondikes. Chris employs Chelsea to retrieve his gear but faces police assault due to Theodore’s order to shoot him on sight. Ban organizes armed terrorists to strike the Fourland palace and dispatches Nhat to assist Chris’s escape. Lindsey visits Finn at the Pinochle office, presenting a money order from Chris to rebuild the orphanage. Finn recognizes Chris’s familial regard and deduces his true intentions, rushing to the hospital after Chris takes Michel. Finn pleads via phone for Chris not to sacrifice himself, but Chris flees, surviving a sniper shot from Owen using his Calories High power. Owen subsequently informs Finn that he is fired for disobeying Theodore’s orders.
