Ep. 8: Keiichi confronts Mion regarding disappearances, leading to a torture chamber encounter and tragic revelations.
Keiichi and Rena suspect Mion is responsible for Rika and Satoko's disappearance and report this to detective Oishi. Lacking probable cause for a warrant, they confront Mion at her home. She admits Rika and Satoko visited the night they vanished and requests a private moment with Keiichi before arrest, luring him into a dungeon where he encounters Shion. Mion intends to torture Keiichi but hesitates when he begs for Shion's safety, mistakenly believing she is possessed by Oyashiro. After hearing a noise, Mion tasers Keiichi and escapes. Keiichi and Shion are rescued, but Mion later stabs Keiichi in the stomach. He learns Shion fell to her death from her apartment. Detective Oishi confirms Mion Sonozaki attacked him and reveals Mion's body was found dead in a well. Oishi also states Miyo Takano died 24 hours before the festival fire. After Oishi departs, Mion appears and presumably kills Keiichi.
