Keiichi is disturbed to discover he attended the Watanagashi festival with his friends. He learns Satoko’s uncle is still abusing her, despite Keiichi’s belief that he killed him. Keiichi visits the Doctor’s office and confesses the murder to Coach Irie. Irie promises assistance, but Keiichi overhears him instructing his assistant to sedate him via tea. Keiichi escapes to verify the body’s location. Oishi finds him there and compels him to continue digging. Keiichi becomes confused when the body is missing from the grave.
