Rena accidentally ingests a red Fuwazaru Magatama during a picnic with Keiichi, causing her to act lovesick. Rika explains that the broken seal forces the holder to fall blindly in love with the owner of the white counterpart. The group assumes Rena holds the red stone and searches for the white one, which passes through Tomitake, Takano, and Oishi, each succumbing to the curse. Keiichi wins the magatama from Rena and Oishi via mahjong but accidentally swallows it himself. Rika lifts the curse before Keiichi is affected, restoring Rena. She thanks Keiichi and confesses her feelings, unsure if they are genuine or cursed. Meanwhile, Tomitake and Takano remain infatuated with Rena and compete for her attention.
