Hyoh, Bat, and Rihaku watch as Kaioh fails to use his remaining evil spiritual energy against Kenshiro. Kaioh moves to his mother's shrine for a final attack but is defeated by Kenshiro. He asks Hyoh to kill him, but Hyoh refuses and dies from his injuries in Kaioh's arms. Both men are then encased in lava. Kenshiro leaves Lin with Bat to wake up in his embrace. Finally, Kenshiro rides away on Kokuoh, remembering the men he fought and considered brothers.
