Ep. 5: Kenshiro learns Shin is his rival and vows to rescue Yuria from the flames of a burning castle.

Kenshiro discovers that King is actually Shin, a Nanto Seiken master who defeated him a year ago. Shin carved seven scars into Kenshiro’s chest and abducted his fiancée Yuria, who agreed to stay with him only if Kenshiro’s life was spared. Kenshiro travels to a castle where Shin was rumored to be staying, but Shin has already departed for the new capital city of Southern Cross. Inside the empty castle, Kenshiro encounters Shin’s right-hand man, Joker. Joker sets the building on fire while Kenshiro is trapped inside. Kenshiro manages to escape the blaze and swears to find Shin and retrieve Yuria.
