Ep. 3: Yuuhi accepts a knight contract to cure his grandfather after a golem attack.

Yuuhi reveals his father was a murdered police officer and his mother vanished, leaving him raised by a distrustful grandfather. After a hospital golem attack leaves him exhausted, Yuuhi hallucinates Samidare, who promises a kiss if he survives. He destroys the creature and agrees to Noi’s contract to become a knight, using a wish to heal his grandfather despite his lingering resentment. He nearly kisses Samidare while asleep but wakes before it happens. Back home, training resumes until they encounter Shinonome Hangetsu, the Dog Knight, and his partner Saw, who claim to uphold justice. Yuuhi worries about their reaction to Samidare’s intentions. Hangetsu evaluates them as a martial artist. That night, Yuuhi finally receives the promised kiss from Samidare and resolves to grow stronger.
