Ep. 2: Yuuhi confronts his fear of chains while Samidare explains her world-destroying motives.

Yuuhi suffers a nightmare about his grandfather chaining him, prompting him to train his stamina-linked magic. He marvels at Samidare’s strength and encounters her brother, Hisame, at her home. After another golem attack where Samidare rescues him, Yuuhi learns his grandfather is hospitalized. He attempts to improve his agility by flying across a river but falls in and develops a fever. While delirious, he recalls being chained in a shed as a child for making a friend, confirming his deep-seated fear of chains. Samidare comforts him and insists he visit his grandfather, promising to help him overcome his terror. Yuuhi resolves to face this challenge and grow stronger through the experience.
