Jul 9, 2022College student Yuuhi Amamiya encounters Noi, a lizard Beast Knight bound to him. After Noi grants Yuuhi a magic ring, he causes trouble by using telekinesis on his professor, Hisame. When attacked by a golem, Yuuhi is saved by his neighbor, Samidare Asahina, who is revealed to be the princess with the spirit Anima. Samidare shows Yuuhi the Biscuit Hammer, a moon-sized weapon in orbit. To prove his knight status, Yuuhi saves Samidare after she jumps from a roof. Noi becomes angry upon learning Samidare intends to conquer Earth, prompting Yuuhi to pledge his loyalty to the cause.

These orphaned twins from the future were praised for psychic powers, leading Animus to develop a god complex. He destroyed the Earth with the Biscuit Hammer, sending them to the past where they fought over the planet. Later, Anima met a young Samidare at a hospital and encountered Yuuhi outside. Samidare later expressed a desire to see him again and claimed the Earth. Returning to the present, Animus announces a few months' break for the knights to prepare for the last battle.

They are forced to fight his final golem, Poseideon, but defeat it easily after Samidare reunites with them. Anima then teleports Yuuhi and Samidare inside the Blues Drive Monster. Upon activation, the monster battles the Biscuit Hammer. After the monster loses, Samidare shatters the Biscuit Hammer using reconstructed fragments of the Blues Drive Monster. The conflict concludes on Earth, where Animus challenges the remaining knights to a fight.

They share a final conversation before he dies. After mourning him, Anima informs the other knights that they must now deal with Samidare since her and Animus' story is finished. Yuuhi then challenges them on Samidare's behalf.

Dec 24, 2022After Anima and the familiars bid farewell to the knights, they allow Noi and Muu to stay for Yuuhi and Mikazuki's rematch. The match extends into the night, after which Noi and Muu depart and Mikazuki wins, leading the knights to part ways. Ten years later, Yuuhi is teleported to Anima's location. She explains the nature of the familiars and reveals that she and Animus are descendants of Hangetsu and Hisame. Yuuhi shares updates on his friends: he became a detective, Souichirou runs an agency, Mikazuki and Subaru may be dating, Hanako is a chef, Yayoi and Shimaki are married, Taiyou and Yukimachi are dating, and Samidare is cured. Yuuhi then returns home to join Samidare at a reunion with the other knights.
