Leorio continues his gambling match against Leroute, who employs psychological tactics. He loses a game of rock-paper-scissors, depleting the team's remaining time allowance. Killua then faces an infamous serial killer known for killing victims with his bare hands. Killua achieves a rapid victory by tearing out his opponent's heart, which terrifies the group except for Gon, who is already aware of Killua's past as an assassin. Having secured three wins, the team proceeds to the next stage of the Hunter Exam. This event occurs within the Hunter Exam arc on November 21.
