Only Leorio, Cheadle, Pariston, and Mizaistom remain in the arena. Before the 8th round begins, Ging informs Cheadle that Pariston intends neither to win nor lose, having acquired cocooned human-Chimera Ants. To thwart Pariston, Mizaistom yields to Cheadle, who then yields to Leorio. Leorio declares his goal is to force everyone present to find a way to save Gon. Meanwhile, Killua arrives at the hospital with Alluka and reaches Gon's room. This segment is part of the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc: (8/12).
