Killua persuades an awakened Alluka to allow Nanika to possess her body in order to cure Gon. Illumi observes this event from a distance, intending to seize the resulting power. During the ninth round of the Hunter Chairman Election, Pariston stalls for time after only he and Leorio remain, using the ensuing rumble as a signal. Morel arrives shortly after, bringing a fully recovered Gon. Cheadle recognizes that this development ensures Pariston's victory. Surrounded by celebrating friends and fellow Hunters, Gon spots Dwun and List, who direct his attention to Ging, who remains seated. This sequence occurs within the thirteenth Hunter Chairman Election arc, specifically marking the ninth installment of the twelve-part series.
