Ep. 20: Eru and Houtarou get locked in a shed while visiting Arekusu Shrine for New Year's Eve

Eru invites Houtarou to Arekusu Shrine for New Year's Eve to display her kimono, noting that Satoshi and Mayaka will attend. Upon arrival, Mayaka, who works at the lost and found, provides fortunes and mentions Satoshi left to watch a period drama. Eru and Houtarou attempt to retrieve sake lees from the shrine warehouse but accidentally enter a shed and become locked inside. Eru forbids Houtarou from calling for help to avoid misunderstandings, as she represents her father. Houtarou throws Eru's handkerchief out to alert Mayaka, but she is distracted by Satoshi's return. Remembering the drama Houtarou watched earlier, he throws her purse, which features a string signal indicating trapped contents. Satoshi recognizes the signal and rushes to rescue the pair from the cold shed.
