Narihisago wakes in Kiki's Well, retaining memories of the case. He defeats a Challenger, enabling Momoki to arrest him and rescue Kiki Asukai, whom Narihisago identifies as Kaeru. Both are hospitalized, where Narihisago discovers he can enter Kiki's dreams. Kiki explains that serial killers, starting with John Walker, murder her nightly in these dreams. When a killer known as The Face-lifter attacks, Narihisago incapacitates him. Kiki concludes the killers enjoy the dream murders, which drives them to kill in reality. Narihisago vows to stop this cycle. The episode concludes with The Face-lifter's body, having been driven to suicide by Narihisago's actions.
